Presented Crossing The Line: Comedians, Politicians & Shock Jocks at the Cape Henry School, VA. These highschool school students were well-prepared to have difficult conversations about language, freedom of speech and identity.


Crossing The Line co-producers Teja Arboleda and Darby Li Po Price presented their new documentary, Model Minority: Do The Math, at the University of Chicago and at the National Association for Multicultural Education Conference in Chicago, IL, in early November. Model Minority addresses the devastating myth which implies that Asian American students are all highly successful, leading to psychological trauma, conflicts with family, racial resentment, harassment, hate crimes and suicide.

Non-Violence Keynote in Ohio
ohioteensummit-selfOn November 5, Teja was keynote speaker at The National Conference for Community and Justice in Dayton, Ohio, for the Fall Teen Summit on Nonviolence and Inclusion, to teach and empower high school students to work together, share ideas, develop leadership skills and take responsibility for solving real problems that exist in their schools and communities.

Arboleda is working on a social science fiction novel with Pulitzer Prize nominated writer, and former NPR's Weekend America co-host, Desiree Cooper. He is also working on three childrens book having to do with mixed identity. Later in the spring, he will be opening his on-line attire and merchandizing store, Mixed Up!, responding directly to the fastest growing minority group - multiracial and multiethnic! Meet the power of the mixed!

New Live Show: RaceOff!
Arboleda presented his new show RaceOff, at the opening of the national touring exhibit, Race Are We So Different at the Museum of Science, Boston, on Monday January 17th. His educational video RaceOff, a permanent installation in the exhibit, has been seen by over two million people. The new RaceOff App for the iPhone was premiered as well! He will also be doing the closing events for the Boston exhibit, at 1pm on Saturday, May 14th.

New Web Video Series: Minority Report TV
Minority Report TV is a web video series, with a mission to tear open media indiscretions like rabid dogs, then passionately offer treatment and alternatives. With splats of humor thrown about, as professors and media producers we hope to improve the rocky relationship between media and minorities.

Production & Campaigns

We take on publicly funded full campaign projects such as thedph logo Department of Public Health's New Parent Initiative's Care Share Bond campaign, and a multi-state H1N1 messaging campaign, to commercial educational productions verizonwireless smfor major corporations such as Verizon Wireless and national career support companies such as Experience, Inc. On the broadcast and entertainment side, we create programming that stimulates minds and pbs logo smeducates our diverse population, from PBS documentaries such as Crossing The Line: Multiracial Comedians to You Said Whaaat?!, a ncacmultiethnic cast of comedians for The New Center for Arts and Culture. Our Discovery Learning series for kids, Diversity discovery educatonElementary™ has it's 10 year anniversary this year, with hundreds of thousands of kids in multiple countries, learning about critical issues such as racism and classism. Our classic flagship live performance show, Ethnic Man® is in it's 17th year of national touring.
